Scissor sconces of various designs have hovered over many a workbench and drafting table throughout the last hundred years. Ours is based on the originals from the 1940s. Constructed of durable solid steel with brass hollow rivets and cast iron wall mounts. Comes wired with an antique style lamp socket, 9 feet of twisted cloth cord, and an industrial wall plug. (Cord color shown is Vintage Brown).

The scissor arm opens and closes freely, as well as swivels on a horizontal axis around the mount pole. We leave the steel body and brass rivets unsealed, so they will continue to age naturally over time and develop the perfect patina.

Multiple lamp shades available for this fixture. Pictures show our 8 inch weathered copper cone and our clear glass shallow cone. Any of our shades can be paired with this one, so if you don't see your favorite in the dropdown menu, send a note when ordering and let us know your preference. Depending on shade selection, additional costs may apply.
