This is a solid brass fixture modeled after the classic Victorian designs of the early 20th century. Brass components have been hand-aged in our shop to achieve an authentic patina—the finish is real, not painted, and will grow continually richer over time. The flame finial atop the arm recalls its roots in early gas lighting fixtures, many of which were later converted to electric. 

We’ve used the very best parts for this beautiful piece. All parts including wiring and lamp socket are new reproduction making for safe and reliable operation.

Wiring:
As pictured, this fixture is configured for hardwire installation. If you would like to surface-mount with antique style cloth cord and plug, we can oblige you. Simply go to our cloth cord listing and add the desired number of feet. Wall plugs will be included at no extra charge. NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: UL Listed Socket is rated 220V, 250W, so bulb wattage restrictions are not a concern, and international buyers are welcome. Our cords come standard with American style wall plugs which are not compatible with most international electrical outlets. Thus, unless otherwise specified, lamps purchased with cords will ship overseas with the wall plug removed.
